Hilaria Baldwin has taken to Instagram to make her first public comments after her husband Alec Baldwin, 63, accidentally shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchuns, 42, on the set of film Rust last Thursday. Alec’s wife of nine years wrote that there were “no words” to convey the “shock and heartache” of the tragic accident, saying that both Halyna’s family and her husband Alec have “her heart”.
Heartbreak. Loss. Support
In view of her 923,000 followers, the mother of six broke her silence over recent events, captioning the post: “Holding Halyna, her family and Alec and his family in our hearts.”
Hilaria wrote: “My heart is with Halyna. Her husband. Her son. Their family and loved ones. And my Alec.
“It’s said, ‘There are no words’ because it’s impossible to express the shock and heartache of such a tragic accident.
“Heartbreak. Loss. Support,” Hilaria ended her post.

Following her comments, the Yoga fanatic’s celebrity friends rushed to lend the star their support.
Lolita actress Melanie Griffith wrote: “Sending love to all. Holding you all in my heart.”
Comedian and actress host Rose O’Donnell simply commented: “Sending love.”
While TV presenter and producer Katie Couric penned: “Holding Halyna, her family and Alec and his family in our hearts.”
Hilaria’s post comes after it had been reported that Alec has been “very supportive” to Halyna’s grieving husband Matthew, after he accidentally killed the cinematographer and mother-of-one with a prop gun on a film set.
Last week, the award-winning actor was filming scenes for his latest movie Rust in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
But when the prop gun he was holding misfired, Alec shot the cinematographer as well as director Joel Souza.
Hutchins was airlifted to a hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with gunshot wounds to the stomach, but was pronounced dead soon afterwards.
Souza, who was standing behind Hutchins, was also wounded but has since been discharged from hospital.
Hutchins’ husband Matthew has now said that the Hollywood actor had been in contact, and that he was being “very supportive”, according to MailOnline.
He also said that he had been left lost for words following the tragic accident.
“I don’t think there are words to communicate the situation,” he said.
“I am not going to be able to comment about the facts or the process of what we’re going through right now, but I appreciate that everyone has been very sympathetic.
“I think that we will need a little bit of time before we can really encapsulate her life in a way that is easy to communicate,” he told Insider.
Production has now been halted on the film for two weeks following the terrible accident.
Baldwin volunteered to be questioned by police officers from the Santa Fe County Sheriff Department, before being released without charge.
