She’s known for her flawless looks on Britain’s Got Talent, but Amanda Holden reminded us on Monday, that she’s just like the rest of us, as she shared a relatable post about bloating on social media.
The 51 year old star, shared her bloating woes with fans on Instagram as she headed to work at Heart FM in London’s Leicester Square.
Dressed in a figure hugging lime green dress, the BGT judge who had gone braless for the occasion, admitted that after indulging in some of her favourite comfort foods over the weekend: “It's a bit of an effort breathing in all day!”
Sharing her woes with fans online, Amanda shared her worries about bloating as she showed off her phenomenal figure – leading many followers to reassure her that she had nothing to worry about.
The star still looked incredible in the long sleeved pencil dress, which featured a high neckline and ribbed detailing, as it skimmed her body rather than clinging to it.
The dress, which was designed by high street favourite Karen Millen, looked perfect when teamed with Amanda’s black belt and pointed stiletto, but looking so fashionable did come with a few drawbacks as the presenter soon revealed.
“I absolutely love green. This dress is from Karen Millen,” she told her fans before continuing.
“Over the weekend I made a roast dinner – a massive one – and I had mac n cheese, so it is a bit of an effort breathing in all day.
“If I didn't, I'd look like this…' confessed Amanda as she turned to the side and slouched back to allow her body to curve into a more rounded shape.
The cheeky but relatable comment came not long after Amanda had made a thinly veiled dig at This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield, following his ongoing queue gate scandal with Holly Willoughby in which they were accused of skipping the line to see the Queen lie in state.
Amanda made no attempt to hide her scorn for the host’s actions on her Heart radio show, as she cheekily bantered away with her co-host Ashley Roberts, 41 about the saga.
The comment came as the pair were talking about David Beckham ’s latest World Cup deal, when Ashley said: “So David Beckham has landed a seven-figure deal with Qatar's World Cup sponsor, Doritos. I love Doritos. I'd love a seven-figure deal.”
Amanda then slyly replied: “Get in line. Well, I mean he did get in line. Good on him.”
The former Pussycat doll then went on to reference the footballer’s recent visit to see the Queen, which saw the footballing icon queue for several hours – something Phil and Holly were accused of skipping altogether.
The Pussycat Doll said: “Well, yes he did for like 14 hours.”
By contrast, Holly and Phil were accused of skipping the queue while they were working on a broadcast segment for This Morning – something ITV and the duo have always strongly denied.
Yet even despite publicly addressing the issue multiple times, it hasn’t stopped over 50,000 people signing a petition to have them sacked.
