In a concert earlier this year, Dierks Bentley covered the Waylon Jennings classic, “Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way,” accompanied by guitarist Vince Gill as a special guest.
The March 27 event, titled “Country Music: Live at the Ryman, a Concert Celebrating the Film by Ken Burns,” will be aired on PBS as a two-hour concert film on September 8.
The concert was held in honor of Ken Burns’ much-awaited, star-studded docuseries, “Country Music.”
The documentary’s eight two-hour-long episodes will be released in two batches, from September 15 to 18, and from September 22 to 25.
