EastEnders star Charlie Brooks shares rare snap with lookalike daughter

Charlie Brooks, who is famous for playing Janine Butcher in the long-running soap Eastenders, has shared photos of her daughter Kiki to mark her 17th birthday.

The mum and daughter look like best friends in a series of snaps showing Kiki growing up.

Proud mum Charlie, 40, captioned the photos “Happy 17th birthday little miss kiki. YOUR SEVENTEEN! Jesus Christ.

"We are doing life aren’t we?! Up and down and in and out. I wouldn’t change it for the world.

'Well… I might wish for some more cuddles and the occasional cup of tea. You have been my biggest teacher, and I love you more than you will ever know. On we go my little not so little girl xx."

Fans quickly added their congratulations to birthday girl Kiki, and many commented on how alike the pair look.

One person said: “Wow!! Mummy’s double!! Happy birthday” and another wrote: “When is mini Janine going on Eastenders that would be ace if she did.”

Celebrity friends also added comments, as Kate Thornton said: "Soooo grown up!" and Jessie Wallace added: "Happy birthday you little beauty."

Charlie shares Kiki with her ex-fiancé Tony and although the couple split two years after Kiki’s birth, they remain close. Last year Charlie told fans that nightclub owner Tony has even spent the night in the flat above her house, so that he could be with Kiki for Christmas Day.

Chatting on Yahoo UK’s podcast, White Wine Question Time, Charlie said: "My ex partner Ben, who I was with for five or six years, who’s an amazing human being, you know, we woke up on Christmas Day together, all of us.

"Tony would come down, we’d all get into bed and open the presents together with Kiki, cos she adores Ben."

She added: "Then I was with Ben before that for five or six years, who was just really accepting. Tony absolutely adored him, we all went on holiday together.

"Tony cried when me and Ben broke up. He actually cried."

Speaking of her ex-partner, Charlie said: "We are going to grow old together, just in a very different way. He is absolutely my family and nothing will ever change that."

Charlie recently wowed fans with her hilarious Children in Need sketch where she went on a date with Coronation Street’s Steve McDonald.

By teaming up Janine Butcher and Steve on a First Dates sketch, the stars the stars managed to weave in many of their most famous storylines, with Steve even managing to shock Janine by revealing he has had seven wives.
