Ferne McCann and Lorri Haines are over the moon to share their pregnancy joy in our exclusive shoot.
The duo excitedly told us all about their baby name ideas, birth plan and what her daughter Sunday will be like as a big sister.
But in our exclusive interview Ferne also addressed the leaked voice notes, which have made headlines over the last few months.
Last November the former TOWIE star’s world came crashing down when an anonymous Instagram account began leaking damning voice notes claiming to be from Ferne.
It made front-page news across the country and reports have suggested that Ferne is now estranged from Sam and her sister Billie Shepherd. Despite the happy celebration, we can’t avoid bringing up the last year's events during our interview.
Ferne McCann and Lorri Haines: ‘We’re engaged – see our first couple shoot’
“It will be addressed on the show, but there’s not a lot I can say, which is so frustrating,” the 32 year old explained.
“I am definitely someone who has always worn their heart on their sleeve and been transparent with anyone I meet, especially my followers and the people who watch my show.
“The frustration comes from just not being able to be fully transparent and I cannot wait to share my full truth and the full story, but unfortunately, I can’t because there is the criminal investigation and for that reason I can’t go into detail.
“What I will say is we just want to look forward as a family, working as a team and remaining positive because that’s all you can be.”
Ferne is looking forward and preparing for her pending arrival. The star will welcome her baby this summer and the couple revealed they won't be finding out the gender before the birth – but Ferne does have a preference.
“I would love a girl, just because I’ve got my girl’s name and I feel like a girl mum because I’ve got Sunday," she said. "I can only see myself with girls.”
“I don’t know if I can live in a house with four girls,” Lorri laughed.
“The puppy [cockapoo Clemmie] is a girl, Ferne, Sunday, and then [possibly] the baby is a girl… My son’s there a few times a week, I think that would drive him nuts as well!”
The new series of Ferne McCann: First Time Mum is available on ITVBe and ITVX on 15 March at 9pm
