Im A Celebs Boy George fires back at claim he snubbed Babatúndé as he shares snap

Boy George has laughed off rumours that he 'snubbed' I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! co-star Babatúndé Aléshé at his hotel welcome party.

The comedian, 34, was the fifth member of the jungle camp to be evicted on Wednesday, meaning Babatúndé would be immediately chauffeured off to the JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort and Spa to reunite with his loved ones.

Not pictured in the lobby alongside Sue Cleaver, Scarlette Douglas, Charlene White and Gina Coladangelo, it's since been claimed that the 'Karma Chameleon' singer, 61, purposefully didn't attend the gathering.

So, in order to nip this in the bud, Boy George uploaded a selfie with Babatúndé onto Twitter today, captioning it: "Snubbing @BabatundeComedy in the hotel bar!"

Enjoying the pair's smiley behind-the-scenes snapshot, his fans raced in with comments such as: "Now this must be the best part….. getting back together with everyone who’ve you endured a common “travail”, Only doing it on your own terms… I love this part" and "Now that’s a reunion that would have been fun to see."

"What a fantastic photo LOVE IT George you have snubbing down to a fine art!!!!!" and "Loved watching you two in the jungle! Great energy, vibes, chats and singing!", read two more reactions.

According to The Mirror, Boy George actually caught up with Babatúndé before any of his fellow evictees, just as he'd walked across the iconic bridge.

Meanwhile, the Celebrity Gogglebox cast member (who appears beside good friend Mo Gilligan on the TV-watching hit) told I'm A Celebrity presenters Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly that Owen Warner was his predicted 'King of the Jungle'.

"He is a brave soul and he is a good, good friend. I can say so much, he was my closest friend in there," said Babatúndé during his exit interview.

At the time of his vote-off, which went down to the wire between him and Strictly Come Dancing star Seann Walsh, Babatúndé took a minute to thank his campmates for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

"You guys have made me feel brave. I've conquered two of my biggest fears, which is frogs. I know it's hilarious but I frickin hate those little demons, and heights," he told the likes of Mike Tindall, Jill Scott and Matt Hancock.

"And every single last one of you, I'm going to, you know, cherish for the rest of my life. This has been the best experience I've ever had. Thank you to everybody."
