Made in Chelsea favourite Lucy Watson is over the moon after she married James Dunmore in Greece over the weekend.

But despite it being the best day of their lives, fans noticed the bride, 30, looked rather upset when she posted a series of photos to show off her make-up from her special day.

"If I look sad in those stories it's because I was…," she began to explain to her followers on her Instagram story.

"It sounds soooo stupid but we spent a year planning the wedding and so much money/time/energy went into it… and on the day of the wedding there was a huge thunderstorm.

"We basically got married in the rain and all the plans we'd made went out the window and we just had to work with what we had."

Lucy went on to reveal that she had been left to tears on the morning she tied the knot to James as she shared: "I had been crying about it all morning, mainly out of frustration, not only for James and I but also all our guests/family."

Despite being gutted in the moment, the star added: "However, as soon as I walked down the aisle and saw my soon to be husband smiling back at me.

"I couldn't stop smiling from the point on and the rain became irrelevant in my mind.

"Anyway just thought I'd explain my somewhat moody face (although it is always like that)," she joked.

The reality star shared some beautiful snaps of herself and her new husband sharing a kiss on their wedding day.
