Nikita Kuzmin, 24, who was previously partnered with Tilly Ramsay, daughter of chef Gordon Ramsay, appears to have his sights set on Tilly’s sister, Holly, according to eagle-eyed fans. It comes after the reveal earlier this month that Nikita had split from ex-girlfriend Nicole Wirt.

It would appear that the star has liked a series of Holly’s Instagram bikini photos, which have caused some to raise their eyebrows.

In some of her posts, dad Gordon joked in response that Holly was “jetting off to Love Island”.

Nikita’s relationship with Nicole ended, as reported by a source, due to his desire to focus solely on his Strictly Come Dancing career.

In this year’s series, he is partnered with Paralympic swimmer Ellie Simmonds.

A source said: “Nikita wanted to totally focus on this series of Strictly and decided a while back he wanted to end his relationship with Nicole.

“They had been together for five years and it ended up being a mutual decision.

“Nicole is mainly based in Germany and she is getting busier with work.

“He is totally caught up in Strictly so they decided it was for the best for them to break up.”

They also claimed Nicole used to stay in London to visit her ex, but the distance between them became increasingly difficult.

Nikita and Tilly have remained strong friends since they came sixth during last year’s competition and he developed a bond with the CBBC star’s family, so that could explain the Instagram “likes” for her sister.

Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Nikita for comment.

On last week’s episode of the show, Nikita warned his new partner Ellie that she “needed to improve”.

He said the athlete needed to get better on certain aspects of their Paso Doble before their routine on Saturday’s show.

The pro opened up to Janette Manrara on It Takes Two about how their rehearsals had gone at the time.

Gold medallist Ellie also reflected on their progress during their appearance on the Strictly spin-off show.

She told presenter Janette there were some requests lost in translation as they prepared to dance to Montagues and Capulets by Sergei Prokofiev.

Ellie explained while gesturing to Ukrainian pro dancer Nikita: “You’re saying intense aren’t you, and I am trying, but sometimes I am too much.”

Janette intervened: “No one has ever said too much for the Pasa Doble!”

Nikita then remarked: “We’ve been talking a lot about tense and intense, I don’t want tense.”

“I would love intensity and there is a small difference, tense is just tensing, intense is a certain feeling, a certain body position.”

He did praise his partner’s efforts too, declaring: “She’s doing great, amazing.”
