Sylvester Stallone Learned Photoshop So He Could Troll Arnold Schwarzenegger

Action movie legends Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger are both pretty great fun to follow on Instagram. Interspersed with the usual movie promo and gym videos you might expect from a celebrity account, they both love to share sneak peeks of their extraordinary lives — and they do so with the enthusiasm and relative tech savvy of a pair of boomer dads. Just look at this fun video Stallone shared over the weekend, of himself, Schwarzenegger and Dolph Lundgren living their best lives and “growing old disgracefully”, hand over the camera lens and all.

And now, Stallone is taking his Instagram game to the next level. He just shared a Photoshopped image of himself with Schwarzenegger, but something about this post is different…

That’s right, Stallone photoshopped Schwarzenegger to look shorter than him. Like, a lot shorter. “For years people have thought Arnold was taller than me,” he wrote in the caption, “now, THE TRUTH CAN BE TOLD!”

It’s all in good fun, of course: Stallone and Schwarzenegger are great pals, with Stallone, 73, recently wishing his friend a happy 72nd birthday.

Will Schwarzenegger retaliate on his own Instagram page? Could this be the start to an ever-escalating conflict, we wonder? Maybe Sly and Arnie will take a page out of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s book, and wage a troll war against each other that goes on for years and years. Or perhaps embark on a series of increasingly surreal, self-referential social media gags, like John Stamos and Nick Jonas.

Somewhere right now, Arnie is sitting in front of his laptop with a stogie, watching a YouTube tutorial on Photoshop. And we can’t wait to see what he comes up with.
