Birkenstock Opens Doors to Its Newest Brooklyn Store

Birkenstock — the footwear brand notorious for its trendy Arizona sandals and Boston mules — has now opened up its third storefront in the US in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. This new space follows the opening of the German brand’s SoHo and Venice Beach locations.

“Williamsburg, Brooklyn is the perfect neighborhood to celebrate and interact with our brand fans in the area. It is a vibrant place unlike any other and serves a new generation of families and urban creatives”, said David Kahan, the CEO of Birkenstock Americas. “We’re proud to have found a new home for BIRKENSTOCK right in the heart of Brooklyn.”

Inside the stunning new space, visitors will find it designed with sleek and contemporary style that perfectly embodies the footwear imprint. Core materials of cork and leather are aligned with white oak to create a bright and naturally comfortable environment. Product-wise, the new location will stock items for women, men and children such as shoes, boots, socks and the brand’s natural skincare line. Limited-edition collaborations will also be sold through this storefront.

To add some lively energy to the shop, Birkenstock tapped Brooklyn-based artist Mike Perry to paint a vivid mural in the backyard entitled “Flowing Toes (2021)” which was inspired by life in NYC.
