First Look at the CLOT x sacai x Nike LDWaffle

Past LDWaffles have featured mesh or nylon base layers, but this CLOT iteration opts instead for translucent TPE. Doubled-up stylings begin with the midfoot Swooshes, which place orange on top of burgundy. Tongues get in on the action as well, flipping the script by putting burgundy on top of orange and adding a pop of volt green into the mix on their Nike Sportswear tags. Eyestays are doubled up as well, with a faint touch of neon peeking out from under a sandy tan suede top layer.

More “twice as nice” sandy tan suede stylings appear on mudguards and heel counters alike. The orange heel piece is stamped with all three company logos, and the shoe is laced with both orange and white laces. Down below, midsoles stack an orange slab of foam atop a burgundy one — a first for the LDWaffle, as all past iterations have used white midsoles. Traditional gum outsoles, another first, round off the look.

At the time of writing, a release date for the CLOT x sacai x Nike LDWaffle has yet to be announced. However, early reports have it hitting the market sometime this fall — likely around the same time that the UNDERCOVER x sacai x Nike LDWaffle makes its debut.
