Followers of Universal Works founder David Keyte’s Instagram will be well-aware of his passion for good quality food. Whether in the brand’s hometown of Nottingham or further afield, Keyte has always been keen to share his pleasurable dining experiences.
This season though, Keyte and Universal Works have teamed up with Indian street food specialists Bundobust, for a unique mini capsule that sees the label drop a selection of everyday wear, as well as a uniform for the Bundobust team. Introduced to the brand by Leeds-based retailer HIP, Bundobust has become renowned for modernising Gujarati street food and championing craft beers in northern England, and is considered by many as an industry game changer.
Comprising pants, T-shirts, sweats and fleeces, the capsule also boasts a selection of pieces for the Bundobust staff to wear at their various restaurants too. “We are big fans of Universal Works clobber and attention to detail,” says Marko Husak, co-founder of Bundobust. “HIP first introduced us to Universal Works, and we used to pick up pieces from the London UW store when me and Mayur needed to get togged up for very important business meetings. We’ve grown up alongside HIP in Leeds as a small business, so it’s exciting to collaborate with friends in a whole new ballpark”.
The full Universal Works x Bundobust x HIP collection is available to buy now from both the Universal Works and HIP webstores.
