New Balance and Japanese fashion label BEAMS have a thorough history that dates back over a decade. Recently, the two joined PaperBoy Paris to outfit the 920 and 1500 Made in U.K. sneakers. However, previous to this, the duo co-designed various simple yet tasteful looks, including on the New Balance 237. Now, the 237 is altered once again, this time in a white and ivory colorway that is extremely similar to the duo’s 2021 release of a similar color palette.
Operating as a go-to budget-oriented sneaker, the 237 features a throwback aesthetic that draws inspiration from running shoes dated to the ’70s and ’80s. Constructed of a high quality suede and mesh upper, the sneaker balances sport with style. White outfits the base of the upper while ivory lands on the oversized “N” logo, mudguard, heel counter and supporting overlays. An off-white shade further complements the look at the heel tab, tongue and EVA-infused midsole, which rests atop a black rubber outsole.
Release for this white and ivory New Balance 237 colorway is taking place exclusively through B:MINg by BEAMS. Priced at ¥10,340 JPY (approx. $72 USD), most sizes are still available for pre-order.
Elsewhere in the busy world of footwear, Patta has officially revealed its latest collaboration with New Balance, taking on the 990v3 and a matching apparel collection.
