Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are undoubtedly one of the most famous couples on the planet and, naturally, they enjoy all the trappings that come along with being a multi-millionaire – including travelling on a lavish private jet.
Whenever the couple feel the need to take a trip or fly back to the UK for a visit – such as the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June – they hop aboard a luxury 12-seater Cessna jet, which is said to be worth around £5million.
The Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign plane is, of course, decked out to the nines, with plush honey-coloured leather seats, which contrast to the dark wood fixtures, and gold lighting features.
There are also spacious bathrooms, on-board wifi and executive desks, in case Harry or Meghan feel the need to attend to some business during long-haul flights.
According to Liberty Jet, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's private jet currently retails for around $6.5million (£5.2million), but there's also the added expense of hiring the pilot to fly the aircraft.
The couple used the jet when they came to England in June, with their two young children, Archie, three, and Lilibet, 17 months, in tow, and no doubt they enjoyed peace of mind at travelling from their home in the US in the lap of luxury.
Harry and Meghan now live permanently in the US – more specifically in a sprawling mansion in Montecito, California – after sensationally quitting their roles as senior members of the royal family in 2020.
Since their lavish lifestyle would no longer be funded by the British taxpayer, the couple sought to become financially independent – signing some megabucks deals with the likes of Netflix, with a deal said to be worth £88million and Spotify, a deal chalked up at over £20million.
Meghan's weekly podcast, Archetypes, first launched in mid-August, and it sees the Duchess of Sussex speaking with various guests about subjects that are important to her, including empowering women.
Yesterday, Harry and Meghan finally dropped the teaser trailer for their upcoming Netflix documentary about their life and it looks to be explosive.
Titled Harry & Meghan, the trailer shared an intimate look at the couple's life and love story, with a number of previously unseen snaps shared, as well as some of Meghan weeping, whilst Harry can be heard in a voiceover saying: "No one sees what's happening behind closed doors."
Further income for the couple will come in the form of Harry's memoir, suggestively titled Spare, which is due to hit the shelves in January 2023.
It has emerged that the Duke got an advance of around £17.5m for the memoir as part of a £35m, four-book deal.
It looks like Harry and Meghan will still be able to afford their private jet for their next trip.
