Princess Beatrice chose to give birth to her daughter at the exclusive Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.

Here patients can tailor their birth plan to meet their own needs and mums can even select a specific date of birth for your baby.

The private Kensington wing of the hospital is available to parents to be starting at a rough price of around £8k for a natural delivery.

The price varies depending on whether expectant mothers opt for a maternity led packing or consultant care.

The most expensive option is the consultant led “platinum emergency or elective section package” which costs £10,650.

The cheapest option meanwhile is the midwife led “vaginal delivery package” which is listed at £6,475.

The team can also provide optional birth balls, beanbags, floor mats, birthing stools, and birthing pools depending on the preference and birth plan of the individual.

The private hospital offers new mums a celebratory meal following the birth of their child of smoked salmon and champagne if they so wish.

Meanwhile, each room offers a state of the art flat-screen TV’s and luxurious walk-in showers.

At no point do the patients share a ward and following the birth they are whisked into private rooms, complete with a bed for their partner.

They are then cared for round the clock by midwives who can feed their new babies in the hospital’s nursery if the mum needs some sleep.

Through the Hospital Arts Programme, they also regularly arrange music concerts and performances for patients, visitors and staff to enjoy.

It's no surprise the hospital is popular with celebrities and both Amal Clooney and Cheryl are former patients and gave birth in the Kensington Wing.
