Man’s comment over which way you should stand in shower sparks debate online

A man has divided internet after raising a question of which way people should stand when taking shower.

Flynn West first posted a video saying he has just found out "there are people who shower facing towards the shower" along with some crying emojis.

The clip has amassed more than 800,000 views and one woman responded in a stitch video asking: "No way do y’all shower backwards?"

She then walks into her shower room and explains: "You guys don't, like you get in the shower and you wash your body [facing the shower].

"And then you turn around when you need to wash your hair, right?"

Her comment has since sparked a debate as others shared their shower routines.

"I face sideways and stare at the wall before rinsing the soap off," one said and a second wrote: "Start at the top. Shampoo, then rinse, condition hair, wash body.

"Shave while conditioner is still in. Rinse until soap is gone. Wash my face last."

A third remembered a famous shower scene in Alfred Hitchcock's movie "Psycho" and commented: "Nah, that's how people get murdered."

"I have watched too many horror movies, I'm constantly moving," a fourth joked.

Meanwhile, two men were caught on Google Maps having an "alternate shower" in the street in Maryland, US.

The pair were seen standing on stepladders, with one seemingly pouring a bottle of water over the head of his fully clothed counterpart.

Viewers were baffled as one of them appeared to be almost entirely wrapped in bandages – or possibly toilet roll.
