Woman, 22, ‘with no phone or money’ missing from adventure park

A 22-year-old woman has vanished from an adventure park with no phone or money.

Rosie Johnson went missing from the Little Canada PGL Adventure Park in Wootton on the Isle of Wight.

She was last seen at the park on the evening of Sunday, June 23.

Rosie, from Glasgow, is described as having mousy hair and is of slim build and was wearing a dark blue puffa jacket and trousers.

Local residents have been shown a picture of Rosie and the National Police Air Service Helicopter is also assisting in the search and is currently conducting an aerial sweep of woodland between Fishbourne and Wootton.


Ryde Rescue and two of the Island Coastguard search and rescue teams from Needles and Bembridge are also involved in the search.

A Hampshire Police spokesman said: "Members of the Wootton community are asked to help by checking sheds, boats and outbuildings. Please check thoroughly and call us on 101 with any information.

"Police officers and volunteers from Wight SAR are conducting searches in the area.

"If you think you might have seen Rosie since she went missing, or have any information about where she might be, please call us as a matter of urgency on 101 quoting 44190217273."
