Chef Kelly Scott, who's known on TikTok as Kelly's Clean Kitchen, revealed the hack on the video sharing platform.

In the short clip she demonstrates how to effectively dice a bell pepper without any fuss.

First she says you need to "cut off the stem" of the pepper – before doing what she calls a "little fun trick."

The video then shows her holding the pepper in the middle, as she simply cuts the flesh of the pepper off the stalk by moving the knife around in a circular motion.

In the clip she said: "This prevents any of the seeds from getting out.

"Cut through those ribs and make sure the seeds are in tact.

"Cut off the bottom bit, dice it up – there's no waste here.

"Do the same with the top. Cut them into rows."

She said when it comes to further cutting up the sections, it's best to start by cutting them "into rows" while ensuring they're skin-side down for an easier chop.

From here you can dice the rows into smaller pieces.

Since Kelly shared the video, more than 5,000 people have liked it, and many people have also left comments.

People have said they "love" the trick, and think it's a very useful tip to use in the kitchen.

One person said: "Dicing bell peppers is therapeutic for me – thanks for sharing."

A second commented: "Cool – thanks. I was spooning them out."

Meanwhile, a third added: "Love your videos. What may seem simple to some, for others like myself, these videos are very helpful."
