Dancing on Ice The Viviennes Cher obsession – tattoos, wedding and Mastermind

Drag Race UK winner The Vivienne is obsessed with US singer Cher.

The TV star, who is in the final of ITV's Dancing on Ice with Nile Wilson and Joey Essex, has been such a superfan of the iconic singer that she chose her as a Mastermind subject as well as the inspiration for some of the drag queen's many tattoos.

Not only that but Cher was invited to The Vivienne's wedding. Well sort of, as the drag superstar hired a Cher lookalike to join in her big day.

The Vivienne – real name James Lee Williams – tied the knot with partner David Ludford with a Cher lookalike in attendance as well as a Beyoncé tribute and Lady Gaga lookalike for the ultimate wow factor.

Daily Star have got the lowdown on how obsessed The Vivienne is with Oscar-winning actress and singer Cher.

Tattoo tribute

It's pretty common to get a tattoo dedicated to someone you love and feel inspired by, and The Vivienne took it one step further when she chose to get a portrait picture of iconic Cher in 2020.

The image, is a perfect monochromatic sketch of the singer complete with wild dark curls and her trademark facial expression staring direct.

Before she went to get the new piece of body ink, The Vivienne even tweeted her idol as she wrote: "So I’m getting a portrait tattoo of @cher right now! Can’t wait for you see it my queen x".

The Vivienne got the detailed piece of body art via Killer Ink Tattoo in Liverpool, by tattoo artist Gordon James.

Wedding nod

Shortly after The Vivienne won Drag Race UK in 2019, she married long time love David Ludford in an extravagant and flamboyant wedding befitting a drag superstar.

The Vivienne became the glam groom in a ceremony held at London’s famous gay venue, Heaven.

Great British Bake Off star John Whaite was asked to make a cake and the outcome was an outstanding wedding cake for the happy couple with a whimsical theme with spikes and skulls.

Cher impersonator and Drag Race US runner-up Chad Michaels flew in to perform at the star-studded wedding, and was seen in pictures with the loved up newlyweds.

Chad was the runner-up of the fourth season of RuPaul's Drag Race, alongside Phi Phi O'Hara, and the winner of the first season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars.

Mastermind apperance

The Vivienne also took obsession to new levels when she was invited to take part in BBC's Celebrity Mastermind where she chose Cher as her specialist subject.

Answering questions on everything from how Cher began her career to some of her greatest hits and film moments, The Vivienne scored an impressive six points on her round in front of host Clive Myrie.

The Vivienne competed in a bid to raise funds for Sahir House in Liverpool, a not-for-profit organisation which provides vital frontline services to communities in Liverpool and the Merseyside area, including sexual health services and LGBTQ+ support services.

The Vivienne got the chance to transform into her idol Cher on Dancing on Ice as part of Icons Week.

The first-ever RuPaul's Drag Race UK winner donned a transparent black catsuit and a huge black wig for her performance with partner Colin Grafton.

Viewers said they were impressed with The Vivienne's "phenomenal" performance on the show at the time.
