High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale gives birth to adorable baby girl

Ashley Tisdale has given birth to an adorable baby girl as she welcomed her first child with husband Christopher French on Tuesday.

The 35-year-old actress, who played the iconic Sharpay Evans in High School Musical, shared the wonderful news with her devoted fans on Wednesday.

She revealed that she and Chris have named the little one Jupiter Iris French.

Taking to her Instagram page, Ashley posted an adorable black and white snap of which saw her and Chris holding Jupiter's tiny hand.

Sharing the sweet photograph with her 13.4million followers on her social media site, Ashley wrote: "Jupiter Iris French arrived earth side 3.23.21", with a sparkle emoji.

Chris shared the same heartfelt snap with an identical caption to his own Instagram page.

Ashley's devoted fans flocked to the post, showering the television and movie star with messages of love and congratulations.

One said: "Congratulations", with three heart emojis.

While another gushed: "Sending all the love and wishing the best for your family!"

"AAAAAHH CONGRATS!", penned a third.

Ashley, who starred in Disney Channel's The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, was also showered in congratulatory messages from her famous friends.

Emma Roberts wrote: "Angel!!!!!!"
