John Barrowman rushed to hospital as neck injury leaves him unable to move

I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here's John Barrowman has been rushed to hospital.

The Doctor Who favourite, 52, suffered an horrific neck injury, which left him unable to move.

John's injury has left him unable to move or sing.

John is waiting on a diagnosis from doctors at the hospital.

The actor has been forced to pull the scrap some of his upcoming performances at the British Hippodrome and the SEC Armadillo in Glasgow.

In a series of statements, the reality star shared across his social media pages, he shared his upset over the cancellations.

He penned: "I'm devastated to have to tell you that due to severe neck injury, which has made it impossible for me to sing and move, I've been rushed to hospital for a diagnosis.

"The Doctors have advised me to not perform this weekend while I try and recover, so I've had to make the very difficult decision to cancel my performances at the Bristol Hippodrome on Saturday 30th November and at the SEC Armadillo, Glasgow, on Sunday 1st December."

"I am so disappointed and upset as I was looking forward to seeing you all, I feel I am letting everyone down, but it's simply not possible for me to do the show in my current condition."

John later gave his supporters an update on his condition, telling them he was due to get an MRI scan on his neck.

The TV star shared a snap of him giving a thumbs-up to the camera on his way to hospital.
