Kim Kardashian slammed as shes accused of trying to be Beyonce in Skims ad

Beyoncé fans have noticed a recurring theme in Kim Kardashian’s style and have accused her of copying Bey’s signature look for her recent Skims campaign.

Kim’s brand Skims, a shapewear and underwear collection, posted photos of their CEO on Instagram, featuring Kim wearing a navy blue skin tight bodysuit, dark full coverage sunglasses and a crimped wig which are reminiscent of Beyoncé’s look.

Beyoncé’s recent Hall Of Ivy clothing campaign was released in November and shows Beyoncé wearing a lime green skin tight bodysuit, face covering shades and a very similar hair style.

Kim initially shared the promotion on Twitter, which soon caused an outrage with fans.

Many followers were shocked at the almost identical advertisements and a few Twitter users have called out the 41-year-old influencer for stealing Beyoncé’s style.

One fan tweeted: “Now what in the Beyoncé is going on here?”

Another said: “Kim Kardashian wants to be Beyoncé so bad, it’s actually scary.”

One fan simply tweeted: “Beyoncé?”

“I swear, I thought Beyoncé did a campaign for Skims,” observed one follower.

One harsh critic wrote: “This is embarrassing Kim, be yourself, stop trying to be Beyoncé.”

The Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s star has been accused of mimicking Beyoncé’s personal fashion choices before, but back in October another star claimed similarities between their campaigns.

Actress and television personality Draya Michele, who once dated singer Chris Brown and starred in Basketball Wives LA, accused Skims of copying a photoshoot she did with American model Tanaya Henry.

In the campaign, Draya and Tanaya are photographed lounging on a retro looking peach coloured sofa, wearing vintage style corset bustiers and Draya is pictured feeding a cherry to Tanaya.

In the Skims advert, Kim’s 42-year-old sister Kourtney Kardashian and 35-year-old actress Megan Fox adopt a very similar pose against a white background with their legs intertwined, seeing them sport white underwear.

Kristen Crawley reposted the picture that was featured in the campaign to her 8.2 million followers, with the caption: “Black women are always the blueprint and don’t you forget it.”

Kristen used to be close with Kim Kardashian and her husband, fashion designer Don C, was friends with Kim’s ex-husband Kanye West.
