After meeting her future husband, she remembers playing songs like “Old Shep,” “I Was the One,” and “I Want You, I Need You, I Love You” nonstop while waiting to see him again. Her father found this annoying, as she was seeing Elvis so often anyway. He thought Priscilla would want to take a break from the “I Want You, I Need You, I Love You” singer. None of these songs were included in Elvis’ debut album, meaning Priscilla had multiple Elvis records. Elsewhere in the book, she says she preferred his fast paced songs like “Jailhouse Rock.”

King asked if she liked one of her husband’s love songs the best and she named a few songs that she liked — even if they weren’t all love songs .“I mean, I was always a big fan of all of the songs that he would sang,” she told King. “‘Can’t Stop Falling in Love With You,’ [sic] ‘In the Ghetto’ is great…’Suspicious Minds.’ But I always knew the stories behind the songs, you know, and I think that’s what I like, when you know why he picked a particular song and the story and the sessions.”
