Alison HammondandDermot O’Leary could be appearing on our TV screens a whole lot more in the future, it has been revealed.

The duo have been hosting Morning on Fridays since the new year, and now the hit daytime show's bosses are reportedly keen on having them present on a full-time basis.

Alison, 46, and Dermot, 48,replaced Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford in the Friday slot, and recently took on a week-long stint of hosting in Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield’s absence.

As it stands, there’s nothing set in stone, but producers are said to be “keen” to keep the pair in mind.

An insider told The Sun: "There are no firm plans to replace the hosts but producers always keep an eye on potential heirs.

"Alison and Dermot will have been scrutinised during their week-long stint to see how This Morning would look if they took over full-time. And the verdict was very favourable.”

"They are very much viewed as a breath of fresh air and have had a largely positive response from viewers,” the source added.

While This Morning producers are eyeing up Alison to take over if and when the time comes, the 46 year old has recently spoken ofwanting to do a celebrity version of Married At First Sight.

"And I love Married at First Sight," Alison added. "If they ever do a celebrity version of that I would absolutely do that. I’d get married – 100 per cent."

Alison added if the show was created, she wouldn’t want to be matched up with a fellow celebrity.

"I want to be the star. I want to be the main attraction,” she joked.

As her search for love continues,Alison revealed that she wasn’t accepted on celebrity dating app Raya.

She told OK!: “I might go on Tinder again soon. I tried to get on that celebrity dating app, Raya, but they wouldn’t accept me – I was fuming.
