Belle Hassan has admitted that her famous dad Tamer pulled strings to try and get her on Love Island.
The make-up artist, 21, managed to secure a spot on the elusive ITV2 show dating show after 85,000 people applied.
However, rather than applying through the traditional method, Belle hit up her dad's contacts for a place on the programme.
Speaking to Closer Online, Belle said that it was one of Tamer's friends who managed to put her in contact with ITV.
She revealed: "I had a conversation with my dad and he asked me if I wanted to do the show.
"I didn’t really think much of it and before I knew it one of his friends [got me in contact] with someone at ITV and then I did the audition and started the application process."
This comes after it was revealed that only six out of this year's 36 contestants made it through via the application process.
Among them were sandwich maker Joe Garratt, former air hostess Amy Hart, breakout star Ovie Soko and this year's villa villain Michael Griffiths.
Meanwhile the rest of the cast, a whopping 83 per cent, were either found and cast by the programme's casting team or put forward by professional agents.
