Thanking fans for the birthday wishes and giving fans a glimpse at what he got up to for his 27th birthday, he also offered an update on his dad who had a bleed on the brain last year.

Sharing a slew of snaps, which included one of his dad, Nile penned a caption which read: "27 years young. Thank you for the birthday wishes!

"Paps is safely through his brain surgery & still making us all laugh. Skated, played some bad golf with the boys & feeling very loved."

His caption referred to his dad, Neil, having surgery following his "second stroke in 10 years" in November 2022.

Neil took to Instagram before Christmas to reveal to fans that he had suffered a bleed on the brain five weeks prior to his post.

In November Neil took to Instagram and penned: "Five weeks ago I had another bleed on my brain effectively having a second stroke 10 years after I had the first one and spent four days in hospital."

Later in the caption he explained that he was "waiting to find out about surgery and when that will be happening", before adding that he felt "so lucky again" when other people end up with worse symptoms and quality of life than what he has.

After Nile's post that gave fans an update on his dad, he was inundated with sweet messages of support.

One person wrote: "Sending lots of healing vibes to your Dad."

While many others sent their love to Neil and birthday wishes to Nile.

Dancing on Ice continues on ITV1 and ITVX on Sunday night at 6:30pm.
