DANI Dyer has revealed the "struggle" of being a single parent to son Santiago after her split from jailed ex Sammy Kimmence.
The 25-year-old admitted that it's been "difficult" to juggle her career and motherhood as she adjusts to life without her ex.
It comes after Kimmence was sent to prison for three and a half years in July after swindling £34,000 from two elderly men.
Speaking on her podcast called Sorted with the Dyers, which she hosts with dad Danny Dyer, the EastEnders actor said: "When you do have kids, a relationship goes right to the bottom of the list.”
The Love Island star replied: “It does because the bubba comes first and you're tired by the end of the day. I’m in bed by 7 or 8.”
“Her eyes now by 9 o'clock turn into a mole and she’s slowly going to go any minute," Danny joked.
Dani responded: “I love my little boy so much but when he’s in bed I can have a couple of hours to myself.”
The Albert Square star said: “Let’s have it right, you are doing it, you’re a single parent.”
The reality star then explained that life has been more challenging since becoming a single parent – but said there have been some benefits.
She revealed: “You know what, it’s difficult. If there are two of you in a house you can just go ‘just run a bath or quickly make him a bottle while I’m doing this’.
“But I suppose now It’s a little bit different because I don’t have to worry about dinners.
"I can have a little salad but if you are in a relationship you’ve got to keep that going.
"You’ve still got to give them love and attention. But at the end of the day I can just chill and get in bed and be like ‘yeah I’m having a good time now'."
The mum-of-one said "juggling" work and motherhood has also been "difficult" without a partner to help.
She continued: "But it is difficult, being a parent is difficult.
" I’m very lucky with the job we do.
"But there are days that it is difficult because I have to film stuff or do Instagram work and it’s juggling it around.
"I’m lucky I have you and mummy to look after Santi for me, to help me because I think I really struggle.”
It comes after Dani said what her "dream proposal" would be – after her new romance with West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen was revealed.
The footy ace was spotted leaving the Love Island star's home after staying overnight last week.
Dani said: "I really want to go to Venice.
"I'd like to be proposed to in Venice on boat, with them singing!"
She then added: "I'm putting it out there to the universe!"
The Sun exclusively revealed how Dani and £18million West Ham winger Jarod struck up a friendship earlier this year.
They have grown increasingly close in recent weeks and have spent more time together.
The match-up is understood to have the support of Dani’s EastEnders dad Danny — a life-long Hammers fan — as well as mum Jo Mas.
Jarrod, 24, was snapped leaving Dani’s Essex home last week clutching his wash bag and wearing a Lanvin hoodie. He was then seen driving off in his Mercedes.
Dani, wearing fitness gear, left the house shortly afterwards.
Her jealous ex Sammy Kimmence — father to her son Santiago — was jailed for a £34,000 fraud in July.
A source close to Dani said: “She has been to hell and back in the last year and Jarrod has been a real support for her in recent weeks.
"They started spending time together as just friends but as time as gone on they have grown closer and seem to be getting on really well.
“Jarrod is really into his fitness and Dani has been getting into her workouts lately, so they have bonded over that as well as other interests.
“It is a very new relationship but it’s lovely to see Dani beginning to move on and leaving all the heartache she’s suffered behind her."
Last month, we revealed Dani had been left “furious, afraid and violated” after it emerged jailed ex Sammy Kimmence was "stalking her".
The 25-year-old conman, who had posed as a financial adviser, asked friends to “keep an eye on” Dani while he was serving his three-and-a half-year sentence.
Dani first shot to fame in 2018 when she won Love Island with then-love interest Jack Fincham.
The pair were such a hit with fans of the ITV2 show that they won 78 per cent of the vote. But they split nine months later.
