EastEnders fans were left horrified tonight as the dark side to Chantelle and Gray Atkins' seemingly perfect life was exposed tonight.
Behind closed doors, smooth lawyer Gray lost his cool and dragged his wife Chantelle to the wall and punched her in the stomach.
Earlier, Gray took part in a race alongside Chantelle's dad Mitch to raise money for charity.
In a shock turn of events, Gray ended up being beaten to the finish line by Mitch – who couldn't help mocking him over his loss.
Gray was left seething with rage, particularly as they all gathered in the Queen Vic and felt as though they were all laughing at him.
Mitch then admitted that he had cheated and, pointing a finger at an angry-looking Gray, said: "Look at his face, look at his face!"
Chantelle smiled at her dad's antics, but Gray didn't take it too well and suggested that they "slip out" because he had a headache.
As they walked towards their house, Chantelle seemed very nervous and continued to chatter.
But once they stepped inside, Gray grabbed Chantelle by the hair and pulled her to the wall, throwing a fist into her stomach.
She yelled out in pain as they grappled with one another.
"I told you not to laugh at me," he hissed and she fell to the floor.
