Corrie fans convinced they’ve rumbled HUGE Stu Carpenter twist

Corrie's Stu Carpenter was revealed as a murder – but fans suspect his daughter Bridget may be the real culprit.

The former homeless man -played by actor Bill Fellows – recently devastated boss Yasmeen after revealing his killer past.

In recent scenes, Stu’s ex-wife Lucy accused Stu of killing a woman called Charlie Walter after they had an affair.

However, fans have their own theories on what they believe is true despite Stu's confession.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer suggested: “Our working #Corrie theory is the Stu's daughter killed that girl and he took the blame for it to protect her.”

Another agreed: “I think Stu believed his daughter killed that girl & confessed to protect her. If that is true does he still believe it?”

A third penned: “I bet Stu’s daughter killed the girl and he is covering up for her, that’s why his DNA was found at the scene."

    Huge Emmerdale spoilers

EMMERDALE bosses have revealed huge spoilers for the 50th anniversary including three major returns.

The ITV soap will celebrate its half century in October with a full month-long celebration, the highlight of which will see a massive wind storm destroy parts of the village and put its residents in mortal peril.

Producer Kate Brooks told The Sun: “As part of our big 50th week, we will focus on a massive storm that’s going to rip through the village and leave a massive trail of destruction in its wake.

“Some of our best loved villagers will be in peril and its safe to say that the village will never be the same after this.

“The impact this storm has on people’s lives is just massive. That is our big set piece stunt.

“Throughout all of this we also have stories that’ll be massive and peaking across the month of October. Two big centre pieces are the Woolpack and Home Farm.

“We are very keen to make sure that we have covered all the different characters and that all the families that are in the village are affected and impacting in some way by what happens during the month of October.”

    Corrie tackles early menopause

Many are working for menopause to be talked about more openly, but Coronation Street is going a step further.

It's rarely discussed, but some people experience menopause at an earlier age than expected and Coronation Street is working to highlight this.

Corrie's Faye Windass is experiencing early menopause and it's putting strain on her relationship with Craig Tinker as it becomes clear she won't be able to get pregnant again.

Speaking about the storyline, the Faye Windass actress, Ellie Leach said: "I think it's just doing all the research and making sure that I'm getting it right. But scene-wise, it's probably filming the mood swings.

"It's quite demanding, because one minute you're saying something nice, and the next minute you're being so horrible. Obviously it's not real, but I don't like saying horrible things to Colson [Smith, who plays Craig].

"We get along so well. We've been friends for 10 years, so we just understand each other — it's like family. He's like my best, best mate. And it's so nice to work with your best friend all the time."
