Emmerdale fans are certain that Al Chapman will be killed off the ITV soap, with a big whodunnit storyline involving the Dingle family.
Dodgy businessman Al (Michael Wildman) ruined a champagne deal Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) had organised at the Woolpack, which would see customers get a free glass of bubbly if they pre-booked for a meal.
But Al changed the wording of the email to say punters would get a free bottle, leaving Marlon frazzled as he watched their profits go up in bubbles.
Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) flew off the handle and made it clear the champagne offer was over when she threw a bottle of it at the wall, with it smashing everywhere.
Moments later, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) got involved and threatened Al – so there are already three potential suspects if he does end up dead.
Fans shared their theories online, with one person tweeting: "Would be great if the Dingles bump off Al for Christmas."
Another said: "This whole Dingle/Al feud is clearly gonna end up in one hell of a whodunnit with Al as the victim but just which Dingle will actually be chief suspect? Quite a long list to be fair."
A third wrote: "Al is so getting killed off or beaten up."
Someone else said: "Oh how I wish Cain would knock that smirk of Al's mug."
And a fifth added: "Who gets killed then? Al with a bit of luck. PC Plod wasn't witness for nothing."
While a sixth said: "Someone please give Al a good smack, the smug sleaze needs taking down."
Meanwhile, others suggested serial killer Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) might take Al as another of her victims.
It was revealed this week that the Woolpack is set to explode in a dramatic Christmas episode.
Speaking of the explosive new storyline, producer Kate Brooks said: “It's not just the Woolpack that goes up in flames on Christmas Day, as secrets and lies explode, ripping through the lives of some of our much-loved villagers and making it a Christmas they'll never forget."
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays, on ITV
