Everything you need to know about The Celebrity Circle 2021

It may take a while to get your head around, by once you settle in The Circle quickly becomes addictive viewing.

The hit reality series returns next week with a £100,000 prize up for grabs.

Denise van Outen, Pete Wicks, Saffron Barker, Charlotte Crosby, Melvin Odoom, Lady Leshurr, Duncan James, Nadia Sawalha and Kaye Adams have all signed up and we can't wait.

If you aren't familiar with the show's format, a bunch of contestants move into an apartment building in separate flats, only meeting each other on a social media app: 'The Circle'.

That's when the fun really begins.

Each person can be a catfish and if they get their claws into you, there's trouble.

What is the Celebrity Circle?

The popular show see each contestant move into a flat of their own, having not ever met the people they’re battling against.

Instead, the celebrities communicate via a specially designed and very unique social media platform.

Each person can choose to be themselves, or create a completely false identity.

It's about trickery and the most popular player has the chance to win the incredible prize.

When is the Celebrity Circle starting?

Series 3 of The Circle kicks off on Tuesday March 9 at 9:15pm on Channel 4.

If you miss it, don't worry – you can also watch online via All 4, where the past two series are also available to stream.

Episodes will continue to air Sunday to Fridays and the 21-episode series will run for three weeks.

What can we expect?

Teasing the new series, Channel 4 shared: "The nation's most famous block of flats welcomes its latest set of residents. A £100,000 prize is at stake in an unpredictable game of popularity.

"The players will be living just metres apart, but they can't see or hear each other. Instead they communicate via a voice-activated platform called The Circle. But on The Circle, not everyone is who they seem, and the players have no idea who is real and who is a catfish.

"The game begins as nine players enter their brand-new luxury apartments, but one won't be staying for long… or will they!?

"The Circle begins with host Emma Willis delivering a huge twist."

Who else is in it?

Emma Willis and Sophie Willan will be back as the host and narrator.

Executive producer Tim Harcourt said: "Since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, people around the world have been learning the power of connecting remotely.

"Perhaps in the light of this, the new series will resonate even more for audiences as well as offer them the distraction of fun, warmth and strategy."
