Faith's exit confirmed as Chas and Cain give her money to leave Emmerdale?

Emmerdale’s Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) resolved to leave the village tonight (July 2), in an effort to give daughter Chas (Lucy Pargeter) what she wants.

Faith, who has been suffering in agony for weeks, is worried that her cancer might have returned.

She confided in Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) about her concerns earlier this week, explaining that she doesn’t want anyone to know what’s going on until she has a diagnosis.

However, her secrecy has raised the suspicions of Chas and Cain (Jeff Hordley), who both are convinced that their mum is up to no good.

Eric, desperate to help out a friend in need, offered Faith a room at his barn, which Brenda Walker (Lesley Dunlop) misconstrued.

Chas, meanwhile, also jumped to the wrong conclusion, believing that her mum was trying to split Eric and Brenda yet again.

Faith, determined to keep quiet about her health worries, allowed her daughter to think such a thing.

With Cain’s assistance, Chas made a decision, as she handed her mum a wad of cash, instructing her to leave the village.

Faith, heartbroken, was on the cusp of telling her daughter what she’s going through, but ultimately refrained from doing so after Chas laid her cards, and the money, on the table.

Eric pleaded with his ex to come clean, but Faith refused, instead making it clear that she will give Chas what she wants.

Will Faith leave the village?

Emmerdale continues Monday July 5 at 7pm on E4.
