Good Morning Britain's interview with Tyga ahead of Wireless appearance gets REALLY awkward as he's asked about ex Kylie Jenner

GOOD Morning Britain's Tyga interview got REALLY awkward today after he was asked about ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner.

The 29-year-old rapper is in London to perform at this weekend's Wireless Festival and appeared on today's show after having no sleep the previous night.

Hosts Kate Garraway and Adil Ray did their best to talk about his music, but the slightly cringey chat became excruciatingly awkward when the star's famous ex Kylie was brought up.

Kate, 52, asked Tyga what it was like to appear on a show like Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which Kylie, 21, stars in alongside her famous siblings.

Dipping his head to the side and looking uncomfortable, Tyga tried to skirt around the topic saying: "It's just dating, you move on, you date again, you move on. It's part of life, evolving."

Despite his reluctance to talk about Kylie, who he dated from 2014 to 2017 – Kate continued, and asked him if he'd been prepared for the reaction appearing on a show like that can bring.

Tyga said: "There's no preparation, you have to just learn from mistakes and grow better."

Adil, 45, then asked if he had any regrets about participating in the reality show and Tyga replied: "I don't want to really talk about it so much, you know what I'm saying?"

Taking to Twitter, viewers tweeted from behind their cushions as they cringed, with one writing: "Like watching ye Mum n Dad interview @Tyga too awkward man."

Another added: "#gmb These two interviewing Tyga.. CRINGE."

A third agreed, writing: "That was awkward."

Meanwhile a fourth shared: "This is the most out of place interview I've seen for a while."

Earlier in the conversation, which aired at 8.20am, Tyga admitted he had been up all night.

He explained to the hosts: "I performed last night, I had a party last night, then went straight to the recording studio, left the studio at 6.30am to come here.

"so when I leave here I'll have a little rest then go and do Wireless. It's a full time job."
