Meghan Markle will be taking part in her first sit-down interview since her appearance alongside Prince Harry on Oprah. Her second TV interview will air on CBS in the US, as she opens up to host Ellen DeGeneres. has all you need to know about how to watch the interview in the UK. 

Ellen shared the news with her fans earlier this week, saying: “A lot has changed since the last time Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, was on the Warner Brothers lot.”

She will provide insight into her acting career, including early auditions at Warner Bros, before she joined The Royal Family.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show will air on CBS at 3pm Eastern Time, which is 8pm in the UK.

In the teaser, Meghan says: “I would park on gate three and I would scoot on over and the security guards here would always say ‘break a leg, I hope you get it’.

“So driving today was very different.”

For viewers in the UK who are keen to listen in, they will have to wait a little longer for the interview to air. 

It will be broadcast on ITV2 within a week of its US release, so thankfully they should not have to wait too long.

Viewers will learn about different memories from her past, as she recalls an old car she once owned.

She said: “I had this very, very old Ford Explorer Sport, and at a certain point the key stopped working on the driver’s side.

“You couldn’t get yourself in through the door, so after auditions, I would park at the back of the parking lot and I would open the trunk and climb in, pull the door shut behind me and crawl all over my seats to get out. That’s how I would come to and fro.”

Judging by when The Ellen Show usually airs in the UK, it looks as if Meghan’s interview will air on Thursday, November 24 at 2pm.

The former Suits actress is expected to provide updates on baby Lilibet, who was born in June this year. 

Ellen is on social media and she has shared some snippets of what viewers can expect from the candid discussion. 

On Twitter, she shared: “When they were keeping their relationship a secret, Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, and Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, snuck out to a Halloween party.”


Thousands of her followers have commented on the updates and the interview is expected to draw a huge crowd. 

ITV also aired Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey, following its US debut. 

The chat scored ITV the second-highest ratings of 2021 so far and was watched by 11.1 million viewers, hitting a peak of 12.4 million. 

Over in the US on CBS, Oprah’s exclusive chat drew an audience of 17.1 million viewers. 

More information on when exactly Ellen’s interview will air in the UK should come to light after it has aired in the US. 

ITV has hosted an impressive collection of exclusive content this year, including the upcoming concert, An Audience With Adele. 

Meghan Markle’s interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show will air in the US on CBS at 8pm. It will be broadcast on ITV2 within a week of its US release.
