Hollyoaks’ Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw) is in for a huge shock in upcoming scenes, as estranged mum Donna Marie Quinn (Lucy-Jo Hudson) returns to the village.
Fans of the Channel 4 soap will know that Juliet has never had a great relationship with drug addict Donna Marie.
Recent scenes saw the young woman receive a series of text messages from an unknown person, and it was later revealed that her mum was the sender.
She refrained from telling girlfriend Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell) about her mum having made contact, but it’s going to be difficult to avoid her finding out the truth when Donna Marie arrives back in the village.
The question is: just what brings Donna Marie back to the village?
And has she changed this time?
We’ll just have to wait and see, but it’s clear from the trailer that Juliet will not be running to giver her mum a hug, that’s for sure!
