'Little People, Big World': Matt Roloff Responds To A Fan Who Accused Him of Dating Caryn While He Was Married to Amy

Little People, Big World star Matt Roloff recently responded to a comment on Instagram that stated Caryn Chandler, his current girlfriend, helped him cheat on his ex-wife, Amy Roloff, and is only dating him “for the money.”

Rumors that Matt cheated on Amy while they were married started swirling around upon the release of Amy’s new book, A Little Me. In the autobiography, she writes about the end of her marriage with Matt.

She wrote that she noticed Matt “spending more and more time at the tavern he often frequented in the evenings after filming and working on the farm.”

Amy also wrote about her realization that her husband was, supposedly, cheating on her.

“Then it dawned on me. Matt and our farm manager, who had been working for us a number of years by then, seemed to have more than just a working relationship or friendship,” she wrote. “I saw messages, pictures, and other things that should not have been shared between people who just worked together and were still married to other people. I was devastated.”

The Instagram comment saying Matt Roloff cheated on Amy with Caryn Chandler

Matt recently posted a photo of himself and Chandler on Instagram.

“113 degree Date night with this cutie and @thehughjackman,” he captioned the photo.

The comments section is filled with fans weighing in on Matt and Chandler’s relationship.

“This lady was dating Matt when he was still married to Amy and she’s there for the money,” reads the comment in question.

In an uncharacteristic move for Matt, he responded to the accusation.

“You couldn’t be further [from] the truth,” he wrote.

Then added: “Why is it so difficult to believe that people like you with less then 100 followers are even real people? Because you’re not! Lol. Bye!”

It’s unclear whether Matt’s referring to the accusation that Chandler’s only with him for the money or the accusation that he cheated on Amy with Chandler.

The fan response

Several other fans got in on the action.

“Matt I feel bad that the opinionated old harpies just don’t let up on you or Amy. Thank goodness they are less than 1% of those who post on your page. I admire your restraint in dealing with them!” one fan complimented the reality TV star.

“Thank you- Lol. I actually call it “the 1% “. too. I use that to describe that sector of society that I really feel bad for,” Matt responded to the commenter.

Mostly, LPBW fans chimed in just to stick up for Matt and tell the commenter to mind their own business.

“Does it make you happy to post crap like this. Do you personally know Matt or Caryn. Only unhappy people would post or like a post like yours,” wrote one fan.
