Tonight Love Island viewers were left on a massive cliffhanger with both Joanna Chimonides and Michael Griffiths facing the chop.
With a brutal dumping being bestowed upon the house by Caroline Flack on Sunday night’s show, the housemates were tasked with booting the couple with the lowest public votes.
They picked between Joanna and Michael and Anna Vakili and Jordan Hames, choosing the same the latter couple – much to the delight of many in the villa.
However, all was not as it seemed as Caroline revealed they couldn’t remain in the villa…as a couple.
But what does that mean, Flack-Attack?!
‘You haven’t been saved by the public or your fellow islanders,’ she told the couple ominously.
‘You cannot stay on love island as a couple.
‘One of you must now leave the island.’
Of course that was the moment the show cut out and we were all left on tenterhooks, biting madly at our fingernails and wondering WTF was going on.
We even had 15 more minutes of Love Island drama and we still don’t have any closure as social media was awash with confused punters.
It’s been a culling sort of week on the island this past week and we’re not all that sure how much more heartbreak we can take (we do realise only one couple can come out on top, yes).
The last islanders to be dumped from the villa were Marvin Brooks, Lucie Donlan, George Rains, Jourdan Riane and Danny Williams.
Amy Hart decided to quit the show after her heart was broken by professional dancer Curtis Pritchard.
Earlier in the evening it seemed the viewers were kind of over the threesome between Curtis, Maura Higgins and Francesca Allen.
As they took to social media, they made their thoughts more than aware as Curtis chose to sleep outside as to not ‘rub’ his growing relationship with Fran in Maura’s face – deciding not to anger either until he decides who he fancies.
Love Island returns 9pm on ITV2.
