Love Island viewers were left cringing at newcomer Remi Lambert's spontaneous rap session during Wednesday 15 June's instalment.
The episode saw the Manchester-born bombshell enter the villa with Edinburgh contestant Jay Younger, 28, who is spotted leaning in for a kiss in the teaser for the next episode, and the other boys were less than impressed with the threat to their connections with the female islanders.
Investment analyst Jay immediately started going after who he wanted to get to know, while Remi was slightly more reserved about his interests.
As all of the Islanders gathered round to quiz their new housemates by the fire pit, the new boys introduced themselves.
But when Remi, 22, revealed he was a rapper and a model, the others asked for a demonstration.
While the Islander briefly turned serious as he belted out a rap off the cuff, some of the others weren't so convinced.
Fishmonger Luca Bish, 23, in particular, pulled faces to his budding pal Jacques O'Neill at the musical display.
And viewers were left puzzled over why Remi was showing his talents so early on.
"I am sorry but this reaction with remi’s rapping I can’t unsee this #LoveIsland," one fan posted in response to Luca's expression.
“WHY’S HE RAPPING FIVE MINS IN THE VILLA?” another fan demanded.
A third person queried: "Rapping is one thing, forgetting the bars too is diabolical #loveIsland."
"No way did this guy start rapping," a fourth person declared, followed by: "All the Islanders when Remi started rapping #LoveIsland."
“I would’ve got the ick as soon as he started rapping," another Love Island viewer added.
While Remi may have had a slightly shaky start, the new boys quickly recovered when they were given the opportunity to have three dates with three girls each.
Remi was initially convinced he would hit it off with hotel worker Indiyah Polack, 23, so picked her for his starter, but later hit it off with Turkish actress Ekin-Su, 27, as they enjoyed chocolate-dipped strawberries for dessert.
Jay was surprised by his flirtatious connection with Tasha Ghouri, but also enjoyed getting to know Ekin-Su too.
