Love Island fans demand huge format shake up with new voting ‘twist’ – do you agree? | The Sun

LOVE Island fans are demanding producers introduce a new voting "twist" to keep islanders on their toes.

Viewers are calling on the UK show to take influence from its overseas counterparts, like Love Island Australia.

They think mixing up the format of vote-offs will stop stars coasting through to the end.

Down Under, Australian viewers vote for "the girl you think most deserves to find love" instead of purely "vote to save" or "vote to dump".

Revealing what they'd like to see new in Love Island's winter series, one fan said: "Twists with who gets sent home! In the last season, it was obvious every single time and the OGs were way too comfortable that it became a joke.

"Shake things up. Send home 'popular' people. Let's not let the OGs became a cliq until the end."

Another added: "Agreed. We should learn more from the way love island au currently phrase their public vote questions. gives a far better vote i think, eg 'vote tor the girl you most want to see find love', 'vote for the couple you think are most likely to stay together on the outside' not just 'vote to keep your favourite couple'."

Someone else added: "I agree! This is one of the biggest bug bears of mine. Also more public decision dumpings! None of this bottom three and then the islanders get to pick because they’re all going to pick their mates regardless! They need to shake it up a bit.

"They need to put some decent looking people into casa. Like the days of Joanna & Kaz. Like, if they’re bombshells they need to be BOMBSHELLS.

"The casa boys from season 8 were all average at best and altho there were some pretty girls, nothing really head turning.
