After a heated head-to-head with ex Curtis Pritchard in the Love Island villa, the former air stewardess made it clear she knows how to stand her ground.
And that’s exactly what Amy Hart did with her most recent Instagram post, as she hit back at the haters who had cruelly labelled her “plastic”.
On Twitter, one nastily wrote: “Insecure, attention-seeking, controlling, immature and plastic are all of the things that come to mind when I see or hear Amy. Fake lips, fake breasts.”
Taking to Instagram, the 27-year-old insisted that her good looks were down to genetics and that her full lips were thanks to a plumping lip gloss she liked to use.
She said: “I’ve noticed a lot of stuff in the comments recently about these lip fillers I apparently have…
“As I’ve said, I definitely don’t! My secret is using this amazing lip plumping gloss.”
The stunning Islander opened up about her battle with confidence in the past, confessing that she’d had a boob job and got veneers in a bid to feel better about herself.
After borrowing money from her grandparents, she went under the knife to boost her cup size – a procedure she had always dreamed of having.
Speaking to Mirror, she said: “I’d always wanted my boobs done. I grew up in the era of Katie Price. I hated how I looked in clothes.”
Growing up, the Worthing-born babe was a beauty pageant queen up and down the UK and understood the importance of a dazzling smile.
She told the publication: “I’ve got 20 veneers, but they need redoing. I had gappy teeth as a child because I had braces.
“Everything I’ve done in my life – my job, pageants and applying for this – I would never have done if I hadn’t had my teeth done.
“Your smile is the first thing people see about you. The best thing I’ve had done is my teeth.”
Fingers crossed the cruel trolls think before they type next time – and appreciate Amy for who she is.
