Myleene Klass returns to The One Show after insisting that shed never go back

Former Hear’Say band member and British TV personality Myleene Klass has returned to BBC’s The One Show, after formerly insisting that she’d “never go back”.

The mother-of-three, 44, made an appearance on the show that she used to present on Monday 9 May, to talk about her upcoming book They Don't Teach This At School.

She looked fantastic in a clashing zebra and leopard print dress and wore statement gold necklaces to complete the look.

Her natural brown hair was styled in tousled waves and she wore natural makeup for the appearance.

Myleene presented the popular tea time show alongside Adrian Chiles in 2007.

She was pregnant with her first child Ava, at the time, and unexpectedly went into labour, a month early, as she was presenting the show.

A replacement was drafted in to cover her hosting duties as she spent time with her newborn daughter.

In her appearance on Monday, host Jermaine Jenas brought up the incident, asking: "Is it true that when you hosted The One Show previously you went into labour with your first child?"

Myleene laughed and responded: "Yeah I went into labour after presenting The One Show dressed as Elvis.”

After mounting speculation over the years that Myleene would return to hosting duties on the show, she shot the gossip down, saying to Metro: "There is no way I’m going back.

"I left The One Show on such a high. I had a great time but I had to leave early as I was going into labour.”

She added: "It was such a spectacular exit that I don’t think I could ever match how spectacular it was with an entrance!”

Myleene shares daughters Ava, 15 and Hero, 10, with her ex-husband Graham Quinn, and son Apollo, two, with fiancé and PR boss, Simon Motson, 47. She is also step-mother to Simon’s two children from a previous relationship.

She’s been open about her views on “normalising” breastfeeding and in April, she had her own breastmilk made into a gemstone ring.

Myleene posted a video of the ring-making process to her Instagram account, with the caption: “Turns out there’s a gem more precious than diamonds.”

The video is set to Ariana Grande’s song 7 Rings, and it shows Myleene’s pre-stored breastmilk being mixed with a powder, before it is pipetted into a silver ring mould, with a wide, round setting.
