Norman Reedus Jokes THIS Is the 'Sole Reason' Andrew Lincoln Left 'The Walking Dead'

Jeffrey Dean Morgan had an Andrew Lincoln story to tell too.

Andrew Lincoln may not have been at San Diego Comic-Con in person this year, but he was still very much there in spirit for Norman Reedus and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

TooFab caught up with the cast of "The Walking Dead" at a press conference on Thursday, following the show’s big Hall H panel — which you can read a recap of right here. During the presser, Reedus explained why it was a little different returning to the fan convention with out Lincoln, who left the show — but will return for at least one movie — last year.

"I spoke to Andrew Lincoln yesterday and said it’s weird you’re not here at Comic-Con," said Reedus, "because I don’t know where to send my room service charges." The actor claimed he would put "thousands of dollars" on Rick Grimes’ bill, every year.

"He said, ‘I want you know, that’s the sole reason I left the show,’" added Norman.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan then chimed in with his own story relating to their former cast member, saying that his face was literally all over their hotel rooms when they arrived in San Diego this year.

"You open up the toilet seat, there’s a picture of Andy. You pull down your bed covers to go to sleep, there’s a picture of Andy," he said. "All over out room!"

"We both thought Andy had something to do with it. It was the hotel staff!" he explained. "The people who work at the hotel, we have a relationship with now, after a few years staying there."
