Netflix Original series Trinkets premiered on the global streaming platform in June this year. All 10 episodes of Trinkets were made available to watch online at once as fans rushed to binge-watch the Brianna Hildebrand-led series. When is Trinkets released on Netflix?

Trinkets was released on Netflix at 8am BST on Friday, June 14.

Netflix dropped all 10 episodes of its new original series at the same time, making it the perfect binge-watch for fans.

Each episode varies in length from 21 to 29 minutes.

The series has been met with mixed reviews – popular rating site Rotten Tomatoes give Trinkets 57 percent score.


What happens in Trinkets?

Trinkets is based on the novel of the same name by Kirsten Smith.

Netflix released an official synopsis ahead of the series release to give fans an insight as to what happens.

The plot for Trinkets reads: “When three teenage girls from different corners of the high school cafeteria find themselves in the same mandated Shoplifter’s Anonymous meeting, an unlikely friendship forms.

“Elodie (played by Brianna Hildebrand) — the grieving misfit, Moe (Kiana Madeira) — the mysterious outsider, and Tabitha (Quintessa Swindell) — the imperfect picture of perfection, will find strength in each other as they negotiate family issues, high school drama and the complicated dilemma of trying to fit in while longing to break out.


Who is in the cast of Trinkets?

Hildebrand, Swindell and Madeira lead the cast of Trinkets alongside several other recognisable names from the world of US TV.

Madeira landed the role of Moe Truax after impressing in The CW series The Flash.

Swindell’s role in Trinkets was the actress’ breakout part – she’s since starred in HBO drama Euphoria opposite Zendaya.

Hildebrand is instantly recognisable to Deadpool fans having starred in both instalments of the movie franchise.

Elsewhere in the cast, 13 Reasons Why star Brandon Butler plays Brady Finch while American Vandal actress Jessica Lynn Skinner takes on the part of Kayla Landis.
