MASTERCHEF: The Professionals is heading into its' fourteenth series on November 8, 2021.
The show will once again see 32 pro cooks head into the kitchen, all in the hopes of taking home that coveted trophy. But what do you actually get if you win, and where are past winners now? Here's everything you need to know…
What does the winner of MasterChef: The Professionals get?
The winner of MasterChef: The Professionals is awarded a very prestigious title and a snazzy trophy.
Plus they get to boast about the fact they were most impressive in the eyes of the esteemed judges.
But there is no cash prize on MasterChef: The Professionals, just the honour of winning the show.
Where are the past winners now?
Laurence Henry was crowned winner of MasterChef: The Professionals in 2018.
The Nottingham-based chef has stayed put in his hometown and in September 2021 announced that he would be taking the reigns of Canal Turn, a brand new restaurant in The Island Quarter.
Canal Turn is set to open in early 2022, but an exact date hasn't yet been confirmed.
Craig Johnston became the show's youngest ever winner in 2017.
Craig now works for judge Marcus Wareing in his restaurant, Marcus in London's Berkeley hotel.
He began as a sous-chef, but was promoted to head chef at the age of just 26 in November 2021.
Gary won the show in 2016.
He would go on to become Scotland's first ever National Chef.
Gary is now a senior chef lecturer at the City of Glasgow College, where he used to be a student.
After winning the competition in 2015 he stayed working at Eckington Manor in Worcestershire for three years, working alongside his wife Sue, who was the co-head chef.
They now live in Gloucestershire with their kids and Mark works for The Severn & Wye Smokery.
Mark can be found on Instagram at @markstinchcombe, where he regularly posts snaps of his cooking and life with his family.
Since his win in 2014, Jamie has run a number of pop-up restaurants.
He's now Head Chef at The Newport, which he opened in 2016 with his wife Kelly.
The restaurant has since earned an entry in the Michelin Guide.
Steven has his own restaurant, The Etch in Hove, Brighton, as of 2017.
He won the show in 2013 at the age of just 26.
In 2020, he expanded his empire and opened a new restaurant – Steven Edwards @ The Bingham Riverhouse – in Richmond, London.
Anton Piotrowski and Keri Moss
In 2012, two chefs were crowned the winner for the first time in the show's history.
Keri works as a food designer and menu developer for corporate clients and events.
In October 2021, she participated in The Great Nordic Feast – working with Team Sweden.
Anton runs and owns the Röski Restaurant in Liverpool with his wife.
After winning in 2011, he wrote a book entitled My Basque Cuisine.
At the time, Ash was working as a freelance Chef at a number of different places.
Since winning the show, Ash has worked as a development chef – helping to build businesses and restaurants.
Claire won in 2010, when she was working as a catering teacher.
She is now a development chef with her husband at Liverpool's Hilton Hotel restaurant, Koukash.
Steve won the second series of the show in 2009.
He became head chef at Roux at Parliament Square and in 2020 was awarded National Chef of the Year.
Derek was the first chef to be crowned winner of MasterChef: The Professionals all the way back in 2008.
He is currently Borthwick Castle's head chef.
In 2018, he was recognised for his efforts with the Scottish Event Chef of The Year award.
