IRON Maiden star Bruce Dickinson is coming to terms with the death of his estranged wife Paddy Bowen.

Paddy, who was estranged from the rockstar, died in a "tragic accident" in 2020.

Paddy and Bruce got married in 1990 after being together for two years.

They were married for almost 29 years and she lived in West London.

They had an acrimonious split in 2018, with news of the separation only emerging in November 2019.

Dickinson was left facing a huge divorce bill after starting a relationship with fitness instructor Liana, 15 years his junior.

Paddy leave behind three children – Austin, 29, Griffin, 27, and daughter Kia, 28

Bruce's love child, Brittany Potts, from a previous fling has alleged that Paddy told him not to have anything to do with her.

How did Paddy Bowden die?

Paddy was found dead at her home following a "tragic accident", aged 58, on May 18, 2020.

He later said: “This is a terrible tragedy which appears to be a tragic accident.”

Paddy's body was discovered at the £3million home they once shared in Chiswick, West London, just before 10am.

Paddy left of her £1.7million left in a will to Bruce.

Bruce's daughter Brittany has said it included specific instructions that none of the money should go to her or her children.

It is claimed Paddy’s will stated: “I have intentionally and with full knowledge made no provision for Brittany Nicole Potts or her children.”

What has Bruce Dickinson said about Paddy Bowden's death?

In a statement, Bruce said: "This is a terrible tragedy which appears to be a tragic accident.

"Our children Austin, Griffin and Kia and I are devastated.

"Out of respect for Paddy we won’t be making any further comment at this hugely difficult and painful time for our family."
