Yellowstone season five saw the gloves being taken off by John Dutton’s (played by Kevin Costner) enemies after he swore in as governor. Caroline Warner (Jacki Weaver) called in Sarah Atwood (Dawn Olivieri) to take down the Duttons once and for all, starting with Jamie (Wes Bentley). The third episode is titled Tall Drink of Water.

When is Yellowstone back on?

The first two instalments of Yellowstone saw John Dutton reluctantly take up a new responsibility.

But as governor of Montana, he now has the power to make some huge changes which could save his ranch.

Sadly it will be no easy feat as enemies old and new have emerged to take him down a peg or two.

Sarah Atwood appears to be the new big bad of the series, and viewers are keen to find out her motives.

Episode three, titled Tall Drink of Water, will air on November 20 on The Paramount Network.

The episode will air in the US from 8pm Eastern Time, and it will be an hour long.

For fans in the UK, they will have to wait until the following morning for the episode to appear on Paramount Plus.

As it stands, the remaining episodes are scheduled to air weekly with no interruptions.

The synopsis for the next episode reads: “Beth heads to Salt Lake City to take care of unfinished business.

“A trap is set for Jamie; Kayce makes an important decision for his family.”

The bumper premiere saw Kayce (Luke Grimes) lose his unborn son after his wife Monica (Kelsey Asbille) was in a car accident.

She had been driving to the hospital with Tate (Brecken Merrill) when the pain caused her to crash into an oncoming vehicle.

As her unborn son did not survive, the loss has taken its toll on the family.

Kayce swore to Monica he did not see the baby’s death in his vision, after which he said: “I saw the end of us.”

The fifth season is made up of 14 episodes, split across two seven-episode parts.

It is not known how long the break between the two parts will be, but hopefully, the remaining episodes will air in the new year.

Jamie star Wes warns he could still be a threat, telling The Hollywood Reporter: “Inside, he’s boiling and it will explode.

“Jamie’s potential for being the threat is real. Is that redemption? Is that revenge? Or, is it survival?

“I don’t know. But something like that is going to have to happen.

“I don’t think Jamie comes back from season four events; I think he is a changed man now.”

Jamie is looking for freedom after his sister Beth (Kelly Reilly) caught him in a blackmail trap.

Fans will have to wait and see whether he is able to find a way out.

Yellowstone airs on Sundays on The Paramount Network and Mondays on Paramount Plus.
